Nintendo Company started with a vision of bringing people together, and ever since then, it has tried to achieve this in multiple ways. It has also introduced industry icons that have become well-known namely Mario, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda, and Pokémon. The overall design thinking was inspired by Verner Panton. I wanted the office to be more than just functional. I sought out users’ individual experiences and the brand’s narrative. The boldness of materiality, lighting and furniture were curated selectively. The choice of colour red might seem controversial to people’s eyes, but it is derived from a figurative interpretation of the brand itself. Red is considered vibrant, stimulating, and exciting. The design language of this office accommodates human psychology. Employees will not wish to go to a “boring” office.
